Beneficiary Travel Payments go electronic Jan. 1

Effective January 1, 2015, all payments for VA health care beneficiary travel MUST BE made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) through direct deposit to the Veteran's financial institution (e.g., bank, credit union, etc.). If you have not signed up, visit the cashier cage at the Omaha VA Medical Center or Grand Island VA to complete a Direct Depost Enrollment form.  Alternatively, you can download the form by clicking here, completing all blocks, sign and return it according to the instructions on the form. It can be mailed to our fiscal office or faxed. Beginning January 1, 2015, if you already have a direct depost form on file with VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System, beneficiary travel payments will be electronically transferred to that account.  Per Department of Treasury rules, these payments must be made through director deposit.Learn more »
