Home telehealth at NWIHCS

Denene Collura, RN, works with Veterans in Mental Health to self-manage and self-monitor their symptoms using a home monitoring device, the Health Buddy. The goal, she said, is to keep patients out of emergency rooms and out of inpatient care by intervening in a timely manner when they need the intervention. Full Story

Clinical Research at NWIHCS

Army Veteran Kim Vanderloo participated in biomechanics testing at the University of Nebraska at Omaha Biomechanics Core Facility to measure his gait. Vanderloo completed the testing after having vascular surgery on his legs as a part of a research study through NWIHCS. Full Story
