Lincoln VA to hold Homeless Veterans Stand Down

Stand Down is a term that is used by the military give rest and respite for military troops on the battlefield. VA Stand Downs are one-day events to give Veterans who are homeless, near-homeless, or at-risk of homelessness an opportunity to come in from the homeless battlefield and get VA assistance. Lincoln VA holds its Stand Down Oct. 1 at the Pinnacle Arena.
