VA to hold ribbon cutting for remodeled Grand Island clinic lobby


 
OMAHA, Neb. – The Department of Veterans Affairs will host a ribbon cutting and dedication event for the newly remodeled lobby and entranceway at the Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System Grand Island facility Oct. 28, at 10:30 a.m.

The main entranceway and lobby at the 61-year-old health care facility received a complete makeover.

Community members are invited to attend the event, which will take place in front of the main lobby entrance.

Representatives from several Nebraska congressional offices, the VA and the community will be present.

The VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System’s mission is to honor America’s Veterans by providing exceptional health care that improves their health and well-being. VA NWIHCS employees serve more than 161,000 Veterans in Nebraska, western Iowa and portions of Kansas and Missouri.
