VA to host Veterans Resource & Referral Center grand opening

 

OMAHA, Neb. — The Omaha VA medical center will host community members and dignitaries as it celebrates the grand opening and ribbon cutting at 3 p.m. May 27for the new Veterans Resource & Referral Center (R&R) in Building D, at the Omaha VA medical center, 4101 Woolworth Ave.

A public open house will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. 

Staff at the R&R Center will assist homeless Veterans, or those at risk of becoming homeless, with a variety of resources that will include job skills assistance and case-management services through the Department of Veterans Affairs health care system.
