VA to dedicate bench at Holdrege clinic donated by local family

OMAHA, Neb. – The Department of Veterans Affairs will host a dedication event for a bench donated to the Holdrege, Neb., community-based outpatient clinic in memory of a local Veteran Oct. 25 at 2:30 p.m. at 1118 Burlington Street.

The family of the late Raymond Mooney donated the bench to honor the long-time Holdrege resident, and to pay tribute to all area Veterans.

Community members are invited to attend the dedication event, which will take place in front of the VA clinic where the bench is located.

Representatives from several Nebraska congressional offices, the VA and the mayor of Holdrege will be present.
