VA to Hold Health Fair for Veterans
OMAHA, Neb. -- Veterans are invited to attend a health fair Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Department of Veterans Affairs medical center in Omaha, Neb.
The event will be in the main lobby and the Education Conference Room on the first floor at 4101 Woolworth Ave.
VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System staff will provide information about topics that include dental care, tobacco cessation, aging, living well with chronic diseases, Alzheimer’s, nutrition and wellness, financial planning, and more.
Veterans may also get health screened for glaucoma and vision, blood glucose levels, osteoporosis, colon cancer, body-mass index, and blood pressure.
Veterans will also be eligible for door prizes throughout the health fair.
