Veterans Affairs to Host Women Veterans Forum
OMAHA, Neb., March 8, 2013 — Women Veterans who are enrolled for health care services with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), or would like to learn more about their benefits, are invited to a Women Veterans Forum. The forum will be from 5 to 7 p.m. March 19 in the Education Conference Room at VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System (NWIHCS), Omaha, 4101 Woolworth Ave.
The forum will include networking time for Veterans and VA NWIHCS staff, a presentation by the Women Veterans Program coordinator and remarks by the VA NWIHCS director. Time also will be reserved to answer questions from Veterans.
Veterans are encouraged to attend the forum to learn about services for women Veterans and to share feedback with VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System’s executive leadership about their health care experiences. Light refreshments will be available.
