NEWS RELEASE: VA to Host Women Veterans Holiday Open House

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
OMAHA, Neb., – The Department of Veterans Affairs Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System hosts a holiday open house for women Veterans at its Lincoln clinic auditorium Dec. 12 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 600 S. 70th St., Lincoln, Neb.
Representatives from the VA regional benefits office in Lincoln and the VA health care system’s women Veterans program will provide information about benefits and services.
The Lincoln VA women Veterans peer support group will be available to answer questions.
Free food will be available, including chili, soup, stew, cinnamon rolls and refreshments.
Women are invited to bring a pie or cookies to share if they wish; however, all are invited, regardless whether they bring anything.
There will be free gift bags for guests, live music and door prizes.
