GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — The community is invited to attend a dedication and open house for a new chapel and renovated recreation hall at 1 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Grand Island Veterans Affairs medical facility, 2201 N. Broadwell Ave.

A dedication event will occur at 1 p.m. followed by an open house from 1 to 3 p.m.

The VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System Grand Island facility includes a community-based outpatient clinic and community living center.
