VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System
VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System provides comprehensive health care to eligible Veterans in Nebraska, western Iowa, and portions of Missouri and Kansas. We are keeping the commitment that President Abraham Lincoln made more than 200 years ago, which was to "to care for him who shall have borne the battlle and for his widow and his orphan."
Our mission through the Speaker's Bureau is to increase awareness among Veterans, their families and the community about VA health care benefits and services through VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System. The goal is to ensure all eligible Veterans are aware of their benefits, and know how to apply and enroll.
In addition, our VA health care system has experts in a number of different areas who are available to give presentations to community and Veteran organizations about topics including:
- VA health care eligibility and benefits
- Availability of Veterans health services
- VA Research Service
- Experts in health care specialties
Since VA's sole mission is to serve America's Veterans, we also believe it is our duty to honor them by highlighting the service and sacrifice they have made for protecting our freedoms. We have a team that will give speeches and presentations to Veteran groups, schools, civic and community organizations to highlight and honor the service of our nation's Veterans.
